JASH SHORT HONORED AT SUNDANCE FILM FESTIVAL
YouTube comedy collective JASH and filmmaker Janicza Bravo have won The Jury Award, U.S. Fiction at this year’s Sundance Film Festival.
They were honored for the dark comic short “Gregory Go Boom” which stars JASH co-founder Michael Cera as a parapalegic who leaves home to be on his own. The short also stars Brett Gelman and was written and directed by Bravo.
It’s worth noting that of the 66 shorts judged by the Sundance Institute, only three were originally made for YouTube, and two of them were produced by JASH. “Gregory Go Boom” was initially released by JASH as part of YouTube Comedy Week in May, 2013.

JASH’s latest release “Sarah Silverman Visited By Jesus Christ” is available HERE
In the same satirical vein as Sarah’s popular political videos, “Let My People Vote 2012 – Get Nana A Gun,” “The Great Schlep” and “Sell the Vatican, Save the World,” Silverman takes on the reproductive rights issue on the eve of the anniversary of the landmark Supreme Court decision Roe v. Wade.
