Following its highly successful 10th anniversary edition last month, Berwick Film & Media Arts Festival seeks a new Festival Director.
The departure of the outgoing Director, Melanie Iredale to take up post as Deputy Director at Sheffield Doc/Fest has created an exciting opportunity for an experienced and ambitious individual to take the Festival onto its next stage of development.
Governed by a Board of twelve Directors, Berwick Film & Media Arts Festival Ltd. is looking for an outstanding individual who will be responsible for the overall leadership, management, programming, financial planning and delivery of theFestival.
The successful candidate will have had substantial experience of delivering andmanaging projects in the arts / cultural sector and a knowledge and passion for film and moving image art. Excellent communication, networking and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the commitment and vision to develop the Festival into an event with an increasingly international outlook and reach.
The role of Festival Director is full time, and starts beginning January 2015.
